Engels: Indexation for maintenance obligations 2016
The Dutch government has announced that maintenance/ alimony obligations will be indexed by 1.3 % as per the first of January 2016. Both child maintenance and partner/ spousal maintenance are automatically indexed by law on a yearly basis unless otherwise agreed between parties or decreed by a judge. The percentages for the last five years:
2011: 0.9 %
2012: 1.3 %
2013: 1.7 %
2014: 0.8 %
2015: 0.8 %
